Sudden realisation....

After reading becki's blog "Talking About Oneself Should Not Be So Hard" and the expansion on said blog, I have come to the conclusion that I agree on everything she says; as I do on the majority of blogs written by said person.

I did at first have difficulty of understanding what LSE was but, as life would have it, I realised what it stood for AFTER I commented asking *face palm*. I agree, talking about oneself can be hard. The solution for me? :- Write what ever problems I have on post-it notes (decent sized ones) and BURN the damn things!! Then, whenever someone asks if I'm okay, I can say, 100%, that I am, since my problems are now ashes gathering on the paving just outside my house. That way, there is no need for discussing problems about oneself with people, as said problems have already been taken off my mind.

While it may not be the same as talking with people, but it's a good alternative, yes? admitadly, it sounds like pyromaniacy in it's infancy which could develop into a further escalating problem resulting in a criminal record for "suspected arson" or something, but that's a long-term problematic outcome; and I'm talking about a temporary short-term solution.

I also think that for people who suffer from self-esteem issues (lots of people; why does this get "shrugged off" as something "everyone has to go through"?):- look in the mirror [STARE INTO YOUR OWN EYES!] and tell yourself you're a good confident person, even if you dont believe it as it well help (:

I think I've rambled on for long enough.

If there are any grammar errors let me know (:

bye bye !

Exams +& school related things.

Four words; what. is. the. point?

The answer to that question being that there is none what so ever. Teachers will of course argue with this and say that "We need the results to set your grade boundaries and colleges rely on yr 10 end-of-year exams so they can decide wether or not to give you a place"

no offence but that sounds slightly discriminating doesn't it? Unless you are able to achieve a certain grade you will not be allowed to go to the college of your choice if you do not make the cut. What a load of crap!! Angry

I am also ranting about my music test which i have taken only a few hours ago. In total, the whole paper was 100 marks. WHO PUTS THAT MANY MARKS ON THE ONE PAPER? Split onto 2 papers, it would be a different story. Easier to do in fact as you do not have to achieve so many marks in the one go.

Bedale High School have decided to make students wear clip-on ties for school because they aren't happy with the amount of top buttons which are left undone. What if its because the collar on your shirt is too "starchy" and therefore tight around your neck? Or if the weather is so fricken hot, it seems as though a 'higher being' is trying to cook the human race for breakfast? Personally, i see it as a way for them to take control of the students attitudes towards their apperance at school.

Which brings me onto my neck point: girls are not allowed to wear make-up. WHAT IN THE NAME OF CRACKERS IS WRONG WITH WEARING MAKE UP? It does not affect your education does it? It boosts your self esteem and liking towards your facial apperance. Wearing too much make up however, i can understand them not being to happy about it., but wearing subtle make up? a little bit of concealer, powder and mascara bothers them?? gahhh the hipocrites!!

Radical hairstyles are also not approved. Why not? Well, this is my theory by the way, they are secretly trying to turn us into clones, who all dress the same and have the same attitude towards school work, so that we fit their ideals of "good students". If we were all the same, bland and boring, who would look forward to going to school if there was no variety in attitudes or looks? No one, unless, you were into that kinda thing.

Would rant some more but i can't think of anything else to rant about Hurmph
Bye bye !

Don't you just hate haters?

The title of this blog is a rhetorical question, it need not be answered, however, I will be offering my opinion on the question.

Haters
Definition: a person/s that outline flaws*, instead of positive attributes**, in a person's appearance/work for no apparent reason with or without evidence to support their claim.

Now you see, I can understand if it's constructive critisism which is being given, as that can only make things better, but I don't understand why people just ramble on about the bad bits of someone's work and/or appearance.

If it isn't a contructive thought or opinion, it should be kept to yourself or given to people willing to listen but mindless ranting on how bad something is isn't going to help anyone.

If it's so bad, THEN GO DO BETTER!! That seems to be a good option does it not? Or give advice as to how it could be improved instead of slagging it off!!

Sorry if this blog "offends" people but it's just my opinion. There really is no point in being a "hater". Even if it makes you 'feel good' it doesn't justify putting someone down just to make yourself feel better!

This is not directed at anyone in particular, it's just an opinion. Now I know you're all thinking, "Well haters just give their opinions too," if it's not nice, tell someone who will listen as it may end up offending somebody otherwise okay? good.

bye bye readers :P

*Flaws: an imperfection in a piece of work or a person.
** Positive attributes: good things about a person/work piece; the opposite of a flaw.

Myspace IM

I cannot believe i am writing this but oh well. Boredom i tell you!

Yes, i am doing a blog on myspace IM. Reasons? Muchly ««

  1. What is the point?? if it has IM, then there's no point in putting a 'comments' bit on, because people can either message or IM, NO NEED FOR COMMENTS!!
  2. It screws up! I tried using it, and each time internet explorer rejected me and closed down :/
  3. IT'S SPONSERED BY COLGATE! seriously, what the hell?

    Colgate is a toothpaste

Myspace is a website for "keeping in touch"

THE TWO DO NOT GO!! unless of course you want an obscenely white smile in your photographs but that my readers would look INHUMAN! and incredibly fake.
  4. Why colgate? Why not Superdrug ownbrand? Or Boots? Or even..... TESCOS?? I'll tell you why, because they prefer being sponsored by costly branded toothpaste, instead of cheap, cruelty-free toothpaste which works just as well if used twice a day daily.
  5. The tagline "IM with your friends! select an online friend to start chatting". What if no-one's online hmm?  YOUR SCREWED THEN!
  6. What if you dont want it @ the bottom of your profile?? i ain't found nothing that can disable it and tbh, it's just plain annoying!!

I think thats enough reasons, pointless ones at that you may feel, BUT I DO NOT CARE BECAUSE I, AM ON A SUGAR HIGH!!

Spandex body suits xD

Yes i am on my SUGARRRRRR HIGHH!! so i will be writing about something completely random && this was suggested by one of my friends as they though it would be "interesting"to talk about when in reality, it isn't.

Alritey then, from the top.

Spandex Bodysuit

The definition of this will be broken down into two bits: spandex and body suit simply to make defining easier. After defining the former and the latter a combination of the two will be typed for the finall definition.

Spandex
Definition: A synthetic fiber or fabric made from a polymer containing polyurethane, used in the manufacture of elastic clothing.
^ from Urbandictionary.com however, this definition fails to mention the fact it is skin tight which is why it is worn in many sports and also to emphasise certain parts of the human anatomy.

Bodysuit
Definition: A form-fitting garment. Unlike the similar leotard, it is not designed for athletic wear.

From these to definitions we can conclude that a Spandex Bodysuit is a form-fittin garment made of a synthetic fibre or fabric used in the manufacture or elastic clothing worn mainly to emphasise parts of the human anatomy.

Random Search Engine Facts

  • When typed into google search, there are around 290,000 results.
  • When typed into yahoo search, there are around 374,000 results.
  • When typed into ask.com search, there are around 85,900 results.

So, if you have young children or a younger sibling, never let them use yahoo search if they are going to look up things which may have an alternate inuendo result.

Facts About Spandex Bodysuits.

  1. According to several search engines, spandex body suits are mainly worn by men
  2. They are often male swimmers
  3. Women wear them as undergarments
  4. Spandex is the name of the brand however the material used is in fact lycra
  5. Used in tv programmes and/or films to be worn by actors playing characters who "like to keep fit"

The majority of this information can be found somewhere on the net.
So, if you are considering buying a spandex bodysuit, indeed go for it but be aware that it is practically the same as walking down a street naked since it is so skin tight and, upon occasion, it has been known to be so tight it needed to be cut off (fact: off google).

Good bye earthlings!!

Kirby cancer

Kirby cancer is a new form of cancer strain only suseptable to those of Bedale High School. The reason ; because Kirby cancer radiates in buckets off a certain person called Kirby.

The Definition.

Kirby Cancer:

Definition: A strain of cancer which attacks an individuals naivety and subjects them to extreme pervertedness and possibly paedophilia there for, those exposed to it have about a 1 in 10 chance of ever returning to normal.

The statistics.

  • According to my sources, 3 in 5 people are suseptable to Kirby cancer.
  • The individual will of course survive this particular strain of cancer as it does not kill the body, but merely alter the mind in almost irreversible ways
  • 4 in 10 people are indeed immune to the disease by either ignoring Kirby or have a really good naivety "wall" in place.

Conclusion.

In conclusion, Kirby cancer is the least lethal cancer towards the body but most diabolical to the mind hence permenant mental scarring of images which will remain x-rated for the purpose of this entrie blog.

This 'topic' was suggested by LivingStatue and Anna__Oh_No therefore all credit goes to them.

Dedicated to: Anyone who has been either exposed, over exposed or condemned to live with Kirby cancer.

Good bye.

FINISHED THE SYLLABUS (few days ago)

This blog is longg overdue. As you may have guessed from the title, this blog is to broadcast the fact that WE HAVE, @ LAST, FINISHED THE 21ST CENTURY SCIENCE SYLLABUS in McGuiness' class [or so she says].

So à mon avie, her ranting and raving at us to knuckle down and do our work may have had some effect but i highly doubt it. If we'd gone at normal pace, we would still have one lesson to spare after we finished.

The other reason i am writing this is to mainly critisize Miss McG's style of teaching, in other words, SHE PLOUGHS THROUGH THE LESSON LIKE A LAWN MOWER OVER GRASS in other words, very quickly. Also she has a mouth like a machine gun; quick-firing words which are lethal to the enemie a.k.a. the student body.

Most people may disagree with me posting this but their opinions do not count since it isnt their blog so there :P

I am going to conclude this piece of random babble, by simply stating the from here onwards for the next two weeks, the only thing we shall be doing in science is REVISE REVISE REVISE for P1, B1, C1 exam  which tbh, is gunna suck IMMENSLEY

Good bye.

1st post

This isnt really leanient towards any specific subject; its just really me typing out something to post. However i will also include a warning in advance about the following things i will most probably post in my blogs:

Rants

i do have a tendancy to rant on about a specific subject if i either feel really strongly for/against it or if boredom has taken over.

Sugar-high posts

dedicated specifically when i'm on a sugar high which happens around 5 and 7 in the evening and also at 9 and 10. note: when this happens, my blogs generally tend to be about what ever pops into my head eg. hot air balloons, the weather or spandex body suits (dont ask)

"Out of the blue" blogs

similar to that of any blogs posted when on a sugar high except it will only be about one subject instead of many

Requests

I may do a blog as a request from a friend to get their point on a subject "out there". However i would also do this if anyone was keen on finding information out on particular subjects.

Boredom

Yes i do have a tendancy to write blogs when i am bored out of my brains so they will mainly be complaining about how bored i am or the boring events that have progressed throughout the day to lead to my conclusion of it being "boring".

I think i've about covered everything i would talk about in my blogs.

Oh wait one more thing, i may also do a blog as a reply to any youtube videos i see due to the fact that video replys have bad quality thanks to my webcam have HD images withdrawl syndrome.

au revoir!
